Hair Balm is our most popular, all-around, air-dry control product. Part leave-in conditioner, part frizz fighter, part texture creme – and 100% magic – it infuses dry or processed hair with moisture and is the perfect curl companion.
You can use Hair Balm in any type of hair. You just need to find what's the right amount for your hair. Hair Balm helps you attain all the sexy nuances of bedhead, while leaving your hair moisturized with some added weight and definition. So your hair will be all over the RIGHT places, instead of all over the place.
Hair Balm is great for thicker, coarser, curly hair. It gives a little weight, some light hold, and controls frizz. Hair Balm is also great for thinner, fine, straight hair. It's a leave-in conditioner that adds moisture, controls frizz and flyaways, and gives definition to waves and curls.
A little Hair Balm goes a long way. Many people only need one or two pumps. It's best to apply Hair Balm sparingly and build as needed. For thin or short hair, begin with half a pump. For thick or long hair, begin with one full pump.
Try also wetting your hands before applying Hair Balm to damp hair to better distribute throughout your strands. This will also help make your hair feel softer and less crunchy. Some people find starting with barely towel dried hair works the best.
If Hair Balm feels heavy for your hair, try this trick: add about 10 pumps of Hair Balm to a spray bottle filled with a cup of water. Shake really well and spritz on damp hair. Then spritz whenever you need moisture or want to quickly reactivate or scrunch your curl.
You can apply Hair Balm to wet or dry hair. You can use a little to smooth down flyaways OR you can use a ton on wet hair for a wet look or a few pumps for a natural air dry. You can even blow dry it in.
