We get A LOT of questions about why we have alcohols in our formula and concerns that alcohol can be drying. The reality is that not all alcohols are created equally and some are in conditioning. Here are a few more details: 

lsopropyl alcohol is combined with dicetyldimonium chloride, and alongside carefully chosen conditioning agents and specific oils, it has been optimized to avoid any drying effects, and to deliver exceptional conditioning without buildup.

Cetyl, Stearyl and Cetearyl Alcohols are all fatty alcohols that provide emulsification and emolliency to the product and do not cause drying effects.
